When meeting an advisor be prepared or you'll be crushed.

SO today i went to the CJC department for advisement for my starting semester at Metro. When i first started talking to him i felt a pressure i have never felt. I felt scared and heavy as if the gravity was 10 fold what it really was. I wasn't prepared to meet with him or even talk to him well. I felt like a total idiot. An uneducated country bumpkin. After everything was done the pressure was gone and he started talking to me in a normal state. I was able to get quite a lot of information from and learned a lot. He praised for having most of prerequisites done even my math. I was laughing on the inside, while keeping a stern yet normal look. Now all i need to too start an apply for classes.

The thought of the day.

Lies don't help when you need true to yourself. The world my lie to you telling what is wrong and right. Yet the one who shouldn't lying to yourself will not get you anywhere no matter how good you are at lying. For once the lies are unmasked you'll be left bare with nothing to hold on to. Being honest may get you in trouble at times with other, but as long as you are true to yourself and meant no ill will you can apologize and move on. Honesty is the only way to hold on to who you really are

a way to peace

As a civilization humanity is still stupid as hell. It doesn't matter if we begun to accept one another's differences we keep saying the indifference is great. Yet we still kill each other and persecute for our each individual difference we have. Our religion, ethnicity, beliefs, wealth, and social standings. We don't need acceptance we just need to come to understanding of one another. By coming to an understanding we can finally move a step forward as a civilization. A maybe young and naive yet this what i believe would lead us not to a permanent peace, but to a way to build the foundation to one. I know that this understanding or idea would never come to a fruition anytime soon or in my lifetime yet someday in the future. I just hope in that future there would be a true understanding and not just something vague.

WAR!

April maybe a calm month for the average citizenry of the united states. Yet for us students its a war were we everything on the line and hold back nothing. Fighting off test, papers, due dates, and procrastination. Trying our best to pass our class with a C or better while making sure our other class's are well kept. Balancing school and having a good social life. This war is never ending and many casualties can come of it; Re taking a class or two, taking summer classes, and not being able to graduate. For all of you brave men and women fighting with all you have i solute you. lastly do your best to keep your wits about you for that is the only weapon that will keep you going.
